Cache planting advice

Recommended Posts

Me and a friend will be making a 3 to 4 piece puzzle. When all pieces are collected you get the coords to a "treasure" cache. We will have specific rules on what should be placed in this cache with each puzzle piece. Here's the thing. It's not really a multi as all the caches will be big and stand alones and very much far apart (within a 1 to 2 county spread). It's not meant as a Multi but more as a bonus for finding our caches. However, I want people to be able to log the "treasure" cache once found but not reveal the coords on this site. How would I go about doing that?

Make sure the hole is twice the diameter of the cache and deep enough that there will be 3 to 6 inches of soil covering the cache. Mix soil and peat moss about 50/50. To fertilize I recommend plenty of manure. Feel free to use this post.

But don't use pointy objects to make that hole.......

You can list the others as traditional, but on the cache page, say that each one is needed for the treasure cache. I would list the treasure cache as a mystery cache. We have one similar here that I will be going after later this month. Check it out... GC1983V This is the one you find after finding the others which each contain information for the mystery cache.
