+Alice Band
I'm just watching the TV pictures of Dorset Gal carrying the Olympic torch through London. Its not every day a cacher has a personal bodyguard of Chinese special forces. Well done for braving the crowds after the scuffles earlier Amusing to listen to the commentators debating who you were as they didn't have a clue! Quote Link to comment
+minstrelcat
Just saw Wendy and Caesar on the telly! Well, they were tiny little dots viewed from the helicopter. So glad she was doing a leg where there weren't so many crowds - I was concerned for her after the earlier problems. Lisa Quote Link to comment
+The Klever Boys
Yep, well done Wendy! Quote Link to comment

ljay
Well Done Mandy, I forgot about this until i saw the highlights coming on after the news. Was very disappointed that they didn't show any of your leg. Look forward to seeing pictures. Ljay Quote Link to comment
+Lydford Locators
Well done Wendy Likewise we were worried about whether you'd get through the protesters, but as we didn't spot you on the News we decided you must be OK! Phew. Quote Link to comment

Master Mariner
I am sorry that I could not be there in person to see you do your bit but I am working in Singapore at present so only saw some glimpses on CNN. +The Southseakers
Well done Wendy. Sorry we missed it. I don't suppose anyone can work out how to get the clip onto youtube? We (and I suspect many other cachers) would love to see you with the torch. Quote Link to comment

+currykev
The K-Boys are really Klever.Thats a top pic and I'm giving my own personal "BIG whoopeee" to DG and GD too. Looks like you may be one of the last to do this as the IOC may now curtail the torch thing altogether. I'll offer no comments on the political situ of the days events. +The Klever Boys
Thanks for the picture. Good to see that Wendy and Caesar didn't need too much protection I'm not joking when I say that's only a few of the coppers. I had to crop a lot of them out otherwise the picture would have ended up being too wide. I kid you not! Quote Link to comment
+Stuey
Thanks for being Klever with the TV still Klever Boys! The torch is flaming particularly well in that shot! In a lot of the coverage it was difficult to know if the flame was lit or not. Well done Wendy and Caesar, I'm sure you are very proud! Quote Link to comment

+Alice Band
I'm so pleased you had a great time, protesters permitting! How fantastic to have been chosen to carry the flame So, like past torch carriers, did you get to keep the Baguette du Flambe? (thanks to currykev who has fixed a permanent image in my mind) Quote Link to comment
+MissJenn
I got the first pictures through today from the photographers. I'll just share one here. That photo is MUCH better quality and I'd like to place THAT one on the front banner rotation instead of the other one (which I think was captured from video?). Wendy, is that part of a geocache log? if so, please send me the link to the log itself. I can't do much with just the image link. Quote Link to comment

+adambro
Ahh! So it was you Wendy, I saw a photo of you somewhere and did think "is that Dorsetgal"? Turns out it was. I was in London all day chasing the torch through the city seeing it at seven locations. Unfortunately I missed you two, whereabouts did you carry it? My photos from the day can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/gp/66246955@N00/3kB077. Congratulations on your efforts, it must have been very memorable, especially with the controversy surrounding the event which I encountered throughout the route. Quote Link to comment
