This post should pose some interest for the Capetonians that Drive the N1 and N2 to find all of them cache-y things They SA Roads agency has proposed that a toll road section be erected on these two roads. It seems like they will only effect the commuters beyond the R300 (on the N1) and the Airport (on the N2). Check it out all the same and have your say! +cownchicken Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 Hey there QFC, good to see you back!! We have been attending meetings regarding the Toll proposed on the N1 for a few years. We receive mail from the company that is doing the feasibility study. The Toll will be around the R300 and the Okavango interchange. Initially the plans were that it would be at the Joostenbergvlakte bridge. There are also plans that another 2 tolls will be placed between this one and De Doorns. Of course there are other routes one can take if you were on a caching trip but are rather time consuming if one is using the route to travel to work daily. Quote Link to comment
