ATHF
I know there are tons of caches around here, but most are either boring urban micros, or misc uninteresting in the woods caches. I am looking for interesting/fun/unique caches What would your fav caches near Chicago be? Quote Link to comment

+baloo&bd
Chicago is a big place, can you be more specific? Here are three bookmarks you might check out; Chicago Registered Historic Places Chicago landmarks Chicago Neighborhoods And not particularly special, but close to downtown; Near the Bean Also, this will give you a good "tour" of the city; Chicago parks Edited April 1, 2008 by baloo&bd Quote Link to comment

MikeB3542
Anything on the GONIL web site? Maybe they have a "gottasee" list or "cache of the month" list somewhere. Lots depends in what floats your boat: walking in the woods (Cook County Forest Preserves, esp Palos and Busse), urban, a particular theme, puzzles, massive multis, etc. My preference is just to go to locations where there are "bunches" -- these are usually places folks enjoy and there is enough variety of types, sizers, types and terrain to keep things interesting. Often it is a place I may not have visited or known about. Even if the caches are dopey, I at least get a good walk in and get to know my area better. Quote Link to comment
