send to TOM TOM

Just wondering if anyone has used the send to TOM TOM feature that is (supposedly) on Google maps.

 

I had a look this morning, but maybe I am being thick I couldnt see the link.

 

If anyone has used it, is it anygood for our hobby, or is it even there and if it is HELP!!!!!!

Quick search of Google Maps Help implies you need the Tom Tom connected and Tom Tom Home running before the option appears under the Send button. I haven't tried it.

Try McDeHack who seems to use it with GSAK - see this post.

There is a very good macro for GSAK to export to POI's with different Icons for different cache types stc. it is TomTom.gsk and you can download from the GSAK forum

Have downloaded TomTom home and after some time out and not doing any caching and just a wee bit of maintainance I am out tomorrow regardless of the bloody weather to try this out. It says I can send it to my merc (trouble is I dont have a merc).
