+GOT GPS?
It has been a long time since Garmin came out with Version 2.40 for the Colorados, I believe it was Feb 18. I am guessing that Garmin will come out with the Version 2.50 Monday the 30th. Pick a date you think they will release a new update, for the Colorados. And lets see who picks the closest date and wins. (no actual prizes). Quote Link to comment
+Manatee87
I'm having second thoughts about the "every two weeks" plan. I say May 14, and it will resolve a lot of issues. The functionality will almost match the 60CSx (based on the deficiencies noted in G.O.'s comparison table). A means of fast text entry will not yet exist, though. Quote Link to comment
Dosido
Late Q2 2009. Oh, wait. I thought this was the Magellan forum... April 14. Quote Link to comment

I care more about what it does than when it comes out. If they give it the functionality of the 60CSx, I will buy in. I also need to find out if the preloaded maps count toward the 4000 segment limit or not. That will help me decide which version I buy. Quote Link to comment
+jotne
I do agree. Quality before quantity. This is a meaning less discussion. Quote Link to comment
+myotis
I'd rather get it in stages. I am ready for the next version yesterday. Let them fix some things, then move on to others. Quote Link to comment

+geohound100
Mid-May. But things go terribly awry. The Colorado gets confused and thinks it's a six-slice toaster. It beeps five times and then goes into lock-down mode until you stuff bread into it. Who says this a meaningless discussion? Edited March 27, 2008 by geohound100 Quote Link to comment
NewZealand
It's clear when it will come out. There is one and ONLY one possible date: April, 1st. Quote Link to comment

+geohound100
Well, someone has to say it: The beta version was released on April 7. Quote Link to comment
+qlenfg
Beta don't count. It has to be available via web updater to be official. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
When do you think Colorado Version 2.50 will come out?, Pick a date you think Garmin will release 2.50 The correct answer to the OP's question is never. 2.50 was not released to the public. Quote Link to comment
+XopherN71
Unless they go from 2.51 beta to 2.50 public. Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
They might have tested 2.50, but fixed a bug or two, then gave us the beta. I think 2.60 would be next. Quote Link to comment

SiliconFiend
I'm sure Garmin reads these threads... Actually, there's good evidence that they do. They just don't post (at least not representing Garmin). Several forum members have spoken to support personnel and Garmin definitely knows about this forum, particularly since the Colorado was released and all its issues they've been dealing with.
