+BiT
Check this out, I engineered a belt clip for my Colorado from parts left over from my 60 series. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
Can you show the back side of the button so we can see how it is attached? Quote Link to comment
+BiT
Sure, I just drilled out a small hole and screwed the button into it. I then used a lot of JB Weld Epoxy. Quote Link to comment
+qlenfg
I thought about doing that too... Then I figured out the ID badge lanyard. I did make a RAM mount that would work in the car, but you have to take the whole thing off to remove the ball. Cycle Gadgets said they still don't know if today was D-day for the RAM Colorado mounts. Some sites said April 4. Quote Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
You call that Redneck Engineering? Where's the duct tape? Where's the coat hanger wire? Quote Link to comment
vaq45
we can only hope that he used a GOOD butter knive to spread the JB weld Quote Link to comment
+Marky
I would never trust my Colorado on a belt clip. One side or the other always fails and the GPS goes flying. I actually prefer mine in the clip case I bought for my explorist. It's not a perfect fit, but I still prefer it to anything else. Quote Link to comment

I've used my 60Cx in a belt clip for years. Never had a failure. The clip sides wear out after a year or so but can be replaced for a few dollors. Lots of HARD use. Quote Link to comment
+BiT
I don't attach my CO to my belt, I attach it to the shoulder straps of the backpack, just above the clip to my mouth piece of the water line for the hydration pack. Quote Link to comment

I have had variable succees with just a beltclip, including a near loss for a brand new GPS. I always use a lanyard attachment as a backup. Quote Link to comment
