+churchrules
These ruins are on crown land just off Safari Road near Rocton Ontario. They seem very interesting and I'm curious if anyone knows anything about them or how to research them. Quote Link to comment
danoshimano
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/gallery.asp...ce-aa7f85703f6e Perhaps find the local county archives building and research land ownership. Quote Link to comment
+Juicepig
The area is owned and operated by the ontario ministry of natural resources. I think if you contact them, they won't likely be able to tell you anything more then their description of the area: http://nhic.mnr.gov.on.ca/areas/areas_report.cfm?areaid=5339 Have you tried the cache owner? Maybe they are locals, and know more about the area then they describe in the cache page! From the pictures in the gallery it just looks like an old hay barn that has been ravaged by time, but the log descriptions seem to talk of something more spectacular then that - so i don't know Probably one of those caches that pictures just can't do justice too! +jeff-trex
Yeah that is a great site. the cache page gives a little bit of info but nothing about the site. that is a great area to hike in and it is a historic Ontario cache since 2002. I would like to know more about it to. Perhaps the owner knows more about it. Quote Link to comment
