+Ble68
Making Ukrainian eggs is a laborious process. Eggs are decorated using a wax removal method. The designs are drawn onto the egg using a special stylus called a kitska. Then the eggs are dyed. The wax is melted away, leaving the design to show through the dye. Quote Link to comment

+dardevle
I sure do hope that Everybody had an egg cellent Easter I'd have to say that it went really well. I did not eat very much candy so I feel pretty good about that. And we did give candy to our daughter but for the most part we gave her lots of money in her easter eggs. I am really lucky because there was so much food at my folks place that we took some home and got to have it for lunch today. The Easter bunny gave me a few more ice fishing jigs, SWEET!!! +dardevle
Every year we die eggs. Once I decided to keep one and give it a smiley. Well I forgot about it and it went bad in my room! How long did it take to go bad? My dad came over one day and told my daughter that grapes turn into raisens. So he and my daughter hid grapes behind 2 pictures. We found them eventually, they were not grapes, but they also were not raisens either. Just a dark brown pile of goo. I feel your pain! Quote Link to comment
