+D0T-C0M Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 I have mapsend topo Canada v1.00e which requires the conversion manager software to convert to imi format for explorist models. I don't know what I am missing but when I when I save the region to the harddrive it is in img and the conversion manager requires a mgi file. Can someone tell me what is going wrong? +D0T-C0M Posted March 19, 2008 Author Share Posted March 19, 2008 Ok I put in the wrong serial number and that was causing the software to think I had a meridian type gps and thus was saving the wrong format. Quote Link to comment

It doesn't ask me where the owner's manual says it should......HELP!!! I uninstalled the software while I wait for my new GPS to arrive. The program will only accept 1 maybe 2 serial number changes. I'm working off memory, but I think if you make a region , then select it , then go in the Region menu and select save to disk there is an option to setup your GPS and enter the serial number. The first time you do this on a fresh install of the program it should ask you to enter your serial number twice. Edited March 28, 2008 by D0T-C0M Quote Link to comment
