MtnHermit
Has anyone mastered taking screenshots using a digital camera and would care to share tips? I can usually get good screenshots of the B&W odometer screen, but the color map screen often shows reflections and/or moire patterns. Focus is always a challenge too. I have a Venture Cx and the backlight gives ample light. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+donbadabon
I've found that using the Macro feature, as well as a slight angle on the unit, works well. Quote Link to comment
sokolo0
I've found that using the Macro feature, as well as a slight angle on the unit, works well. Probably best way is with G7toCE programme with PDA. Look at screenshots, photos, and usefull links : http://www.garniak.pl/viewtopic.php?t=1595...&highlight= It is my post on one of Polish GPS forums, but to look at screenshots You don't need to know the language. Added later: I forgot my post here: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...=145580&hl= Christopher Edited March 14, 2008 by sokolo0 Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
The macro tip is good. Also, use the LCD screen. not the viewfinder, to line up the photo. The LCD screen will give you a good indication of glare. Quote Link to comment
