60CSx Help

Recommended Posts

I am a new 60CSx owner using TOPO 2008 and CN-NT 2008.

How to set home, work location coordinates ? (Like in nuvi for e.g. you can set the predefined Home location, and Work location).

Also, how to add the current GPS location to favorites ?

Thank you.

PS - I searched the forum but didnt find any helpful answers.

As said above, just create waypoints and call the Home, Work, etc. Choose appropriate icons.

Unlike the eTrex, the 60 line doesn't have a Favorites list. However, it does have a Most Recently Used list, which shows the 50 most recently used waypoints. Just double-click the Find button to see it.

As mentioned above, pressing find twice will give you your most recently accessed waypoints. One other thing I do it is put a + in front of the name for my favorites, eg +Home, +Work. That way they show up on top of the list when you search for a waypoint by name.
