+Geinponem Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 [because of my poor English, I translated the text with Google Translate. I hope that the question is clear.] I asked myself whether it is possible to download cartridges on my PPC with Windows Mobile 6. Unfortunately this does not succeed on my HTC TyTN II. Is this to my hardware or the website? In the latter case, I hope that there is also a Mobile-download-site comming, where it is possible. Quote
Ranger Fox Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 That's a good question. I wonder if I could pull the download page and save the cartridge with my PPC? I'll have to test it out and see what happens. It certainly seems possible. Quote
+Geinponem Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 On my PCC I can't use the 'Sign in'-button, but it is possible to login when you go to www.Wherigo.com/login. But if I want to download a cartridge (if I haved logged in!) I get a message that I can't download because I have to login ??? Is this a bug on the site (maybe not PCC-frendly yet)? Or is it because of my PCC or browser (internet explorer)? Quote
Ranger Fox Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I wonder, then, if I could use Minimo to log in. I think I would be able, but that browser is still in its early version and uses too many resources. When I get a free moment, I'll try it anyway. Quote
delta123 Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I have the same problem. The Wherigo website appears very strange on my IpaQ 6915. Everything is in the middle of the screen and i cannot download any cartridges even when i am signed in Quote
+rodz Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Works fine on my Kaiser/Tilt - you need to rename the file extension from aspx to gwc which requires a bit free software called Total Commander. Look here Quote
+Geinponem Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 I did test with three browsers: Windows Internet Explorer: still stucked while clicking on the 'sign in'-button. Opera (trial): It seems to works and is fast, but it stucked while downloading on 3 Kb. Minimo (free): Works! Quote
Ranger Fox Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Thank you for testing, Geinponem. I'm glad to see something does work. I'm even more happy to see it's Minimo that did. The only problem, of course, is that it's still in an early version. Quote
