+purple_pineapple
why can't we? We quite like looking at the audit log, especially on a newly published cache, but don't want to keep our caches as PM only beyond the first 24 hours. So is there a reason why premium Members can't have the audit log facility on ALL their caches? and would this be a popular feature? Quote Link to comment
+John Stead
Yes please, if it can be done. Quote Link to comment
+Delta68
Yes! This would be a great idea. We umm-ed and ah-ed about making our new series (published yesterday ) PM and decided to in the end because reading the audit logs adds a new dimension to the cache setting process. We like nerdy stuff! Quote Link to comment
+purple_pineapple
What's an audit log? its a feature of subscriber caches. You get to see exactly who has viewed your cache, when, and how many times! especially interesting on a newly published cache! We don't really like putting out PM only caches though, and you don't get the feature on regular caches. Quote Link to comment

Ditto here, I don't like placing subscriber only caches so have never seen the audit log but would like it. Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
It's a bit of a waste of time posting a feature request here where only UK&Ireland folk are likely to read it. You would be better off posting on the Website Forum: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=8 Quote Link to comment
Alan White
Bear in mind that the audit log - unsurprisingly - only records views of the online page. Personally I rarely look at the online page once the cache is in GSAK . Quote Link to comment
+Firth of Forth
I requested this a long time ago on the relevant forum. It got a mixed response. See here No response from g.com either. Quote Link to comment

Thanks FF - didn't know about that. I hope you don't mind - I've started a new thread there (see here ) to try and get an answer from GC.com, without everyone waffling on about how non-PM members can log them! Lets see if everyone sticks to the point this time!!! Quote Link to comment

+currykev
Now I've looked at the audit log of my recent cache I feel somewhat like a nosy neighbour adjusting the net curtains...thats the last time I peak! No thanks! Quote Link to comment

Anyone twisted enough to destroy a cache is smart enough not to get caught by such a simple trap. Anyone using notifications, with the cache on a Bookmark List before you look at the audit log or just using PQs won't ever show up on your audit log. You'll just get suspicious of ordinary cachers and start laying blame at the wrong door. Quote Link to comment

I disagree - I don't think many saboteurs are going to have Premium membership - the ones that disappeared from the Pennines are owned by multiple people so it wasn't personal. I agree that it would have to be looked into, but I'm just saying if a trend appeared....... Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
There have been loads of cases of saboteurs in loads of other places and it's been pretty obvious that they were more than likely PMs. There was a persistent guy in Kerry for example that was getting MO caches only too. Quote Link to comment
