Mama always told me to wear clean underwear in case I got in a wreck and they had to cut my clothes off in the ambulance....but I didn't realize I was supposed to wear them on the OUTSIDE! :P:P

Over on the Northwest forums, at the top, pinned, is a local event calendar thread. It has a link that takes you to all the events in BC, WA and OR.

 

However, if you are Shop99er specific we've got the Spring Fling coming up May 10th, GeoLuau August 16 and GeoBoo Oct 25. Those are the big three.

 

And you guys.... this may or may not come as a surprise. The girl in the undies... that is Shop99er's niece! Apple doesn't fall far from the tree huh?

OK, here's the deal:

 

Post a picture of someone here in the forums that is funny or a bit embarrassing. :huh:

 

Keep all photos family friendly. Anything that is improper will be reported, and you will be disqualified...(and possibly given a vacation from the forums.) B)

 

Anyway, post a pic of someone in a awkward position reaching for a cache. Someone that has fallen down...I don't know...make me laugh!

 

Doesn't actually say that it HAS to be at a cache. However.....

My most embareassing moment must be this.

 

Happy Canoe Trip

 

It is not just one picture but the whole serie, made by Mighty Moose who was almost unconcious at the shore from laughing.

 

One of the pictures may be considered "less family friendly" :laughing:

It is that picture that went all over the forum in the Netherlands and earned me the nickname "Twin Cheeks" for a while.

 

Unfortunately the log is in Dutch, but the pictures tell the story I guess.

If anyone is interested in a translation, I will post it after I finish working in 6 hours

 

For the record: I am a trained Canadian Canoer, for 37 years, in all waters, in different countries.

I know all the techniques, all the different paddle strokes in all positions.

This particular cache is on a small Island in a city POND, in the middle of The Hague, Netherlands.

 

and eehhhh......I never turned a canoe over in all these 37 years EVER!!

Here's a piccie I took of myself to claim an earthcache nearby. My wife fell about laughing when she saw my hair. Neadless to say a had a haircut soon after!

I don't know why this one struck me so funny...but it did. I could just imagine you taking that self portrait for the cache...and then seeing the pic when you were done.

 

I had both my kids look them over, and they almost got me to change, but in the end...this one took the cake!

(Keep your eyes open for another Lackey contest. My son wants to give his away too...he just has to think up what he wants to do.)

I'm gobsmacked - I thought the competition was way too tough. I always struggle at vituals and earthcaches where you have to take a picture of yourself at the cache site so I always like them to be a little bit whacky.

 

The crazy hairdo was the result of getting into a mullett growing competition with a friend of mine (I won!)
