+CRF
My brother bough me an Garmin eTrex Legend HCx and ended up getting two units. I love my unit, but my brother needs to sell the extra unit. The Legend is a great unit for geocaching, small with a very sensitive GPS chip. I have even gotten signal lock inside a concrete building with no windows, which means it should receive signal even in the heaviest tree cover (I haven't lost signal yet while caching since Christmas, but then there not been any bad tree cover). The Legend HCx is the same as the Vista HCx, but without the built-in electronic compass and barometric altimeter, which I can't see needing for geocaching. New in Box, never open, one Garmin eTrex Legend HCx High-Senstivity Color Mapping Handheld GPS with Garmin Carrying Case for $200. The unit is currently in South Riding, VA. +Lennyzx11
Friend, That's a good unit. (I use a Venture HC) but your price is a little high probaly. If you google it you'll find stores selling it cheaper than your price. Not beating on your price, just letting you know. Quote Link to comment

+Yorkshire
Actually, the HCx does have the compass and altimeter. The Legend HCX does Not have compass and barometric capability https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=145&pID=8701 Quote Link to comment
+CRF
The price does include the Garmin Carrying Case and free shipping, so that makes it about the same as most Web sellers. The given price is just a starting point. Edited March 3, 2008 by CRF Quote Link to comment
