+Isonzo Karst
The FGA is now selling a few association coins to non-members - folks out of sunny Florida. See article here. Coins are 1.75" nickel with imitation black enamel, custom prefix, custom icon, and darned reasonably priced at just $8, plus $1 per order, out of Florida - this price includes shipping. Only the nickel coin remains. There were originally 525 coins minted, 50 copper, 100 gold, and 325 in nickel. 275 of the nickel coins to be sold, the remainder to be kept by the FGA largely for CITO doorprizes. There will be no remint. Shipping is via USPS. I'm willing to ship outside the U.S. on an actual cost basis. one face - the Florida compass - cabbage palms, cypress, long leaf pine and a handsome oak I've had some questions on the way to use paypal for this so here's quick summary: Log onto your paypal account, use the "send money tab", then enter fgaadmin@floridacaching.com as recipient. Enter the amount ($8 x #coins + $1 if out of FL), then "Continue". You'll get a page where there's a box to enter a message - number of coins and your address. +Sunrayers
Got mine in the mail today! VERY NICE coins-Thanks. The only suggestion I would make is- Don't tape them together! Scotch Tape residue is a BEAR to get off the flips. Any coin pro's got a suggestion on getting it off? It can't be too strong or it'll melt the vinyl. Quote Link to comment
+KrazyTrollz
goo gone, or goo off (it's one of those names) ... it's yellow and gets all kinds of sticky stuff off.... labels,etc....... it's mild and you can use it on plastic, ceramic, etc..... I love that stuff!!!!! you can find it in K-mart, wallmart, target, all kinds of places Quote Link to comment
+palmetto
* lighter fluid works great, but may be too strong for that packaging Edited February 29, 2008 by palmetto Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
I'm sorry, I did buy an "easy off" low goo tape for that, but managed to package a bunch of orders using regular brand tape. If they're not taped, or secured somehow, they can bunch. Greatly increases the chances of a torn (empty) mailer. I've got the good tape back with the packing supplies. Too late for you....
