I don't think I'm going to take up a lot of time with multiple guesses. I'm just going to make one stab at it and hope for the best :laughing:

If I'm right (or at least in the right area) she might bump into some geocaching buddies of mine from the HMCS Charlottetown.

I think that this poem is appropriate for today. :)

Well folks,

 

Mandy's ship ported in ?????, however, the cache she went for eluded her. she'll either try again before they port out or better luck next cache i guess. Thank you all for playing along with this long cointest. Also for the well wishes for Mandy. we are very greatful that folks are keeping her and the ship that carries her to work and home again in your thoughts and prayers. will keep everyone updated as things go on.

Mandy, i am glad that you arrived safe. :D

Enjoy your freetime and good luck finding caches.

I think that gumby protects the cache to good maybe if you say some kinds words to him , he shows you the cache. :)

 

It's difficult to find a cache in a different country, each country has his own way to hide, but if you found the first , the rest will follow fast :lol:

Dear Lord

 

So far today, God i have lived my live as you would intend.

I haven't lost my temper.

I haven't screamed at anyone.

So far i have not even grabbed the chief's mess cook by the throut, like yesterday.

I have said nothing insulting or humiliating to any of the junior-officers.

I haven't bitched about the coffee, the ship's schedule, the watch bill or saturday's personnel inspection.

I have told no lies.

I have not cheated at poker.

I have put no ship's tools in my personal toolbox.

In short God, i believe that so far today i have committed no grievous sins.

Thank you, God, for helping me to stay righteous so far.

But Lord, it's almost 0600 and in a little while i'm going to roll out of my bunk.

After that i think i will need a lot more help.

Greek cuisine is often cited as an example of the healthy mediterranean diet. [ i did not know that so i have immediately make a reservation with a greek restaurant., Mister Geo.Error and i go out dinner :D ]

We both :D love :D greek food. [now i know why it is healthy :laughing: ]

Well, I haven't posted to this cointest as I had a very cool Easter mission from zazth and Mrs. Zazth before her ship set sail (oh it's probably power - cast off). Regardless, she is daily in my thoughts and prayers for a safe journey.

 

When I went to Canada and found my first cache it was different than here at home. It was fun but held a different feeling.

 

I can not imagine (but would love the opportunity to try - probably not from a military ship, at my age, however) trying to find a cache in a country across the sea. May the cache Gods shine down on Mandy and a find to be had soon.

 

May the Creator and higher powers watch over Mandy's ship, her shipmates and all those who are serving our Country!

By the time a navy guy pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken.

"You 've got to have a room somewhere, "he pleaded".

"Or just a bed,, i don't care where".

"Well, i do have a double room with one occupant, a marine guy admitted"the manager.

"And he might be glad to split the cost".

"But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past".

"I'm not sure it'd be worth to you".

"No problem", the tired navy guy assured him;

"I'll take it".

The next morning the navy guy came down to breakfast bright-eye and bushy-tailed.

"How'd you sleep" asked the manager.

"Never better"the manager was impressed.

"No problem with the other guy snorring, then??????

"Nope, i shut him up in a no-time "said the navy guy.

"How'd you manage that"asked the manager.

"He was already in bed, snoring away when i came in the room", the navyguy explained.

"I went over gave him a kiss on the cheek, said goodnight beautiful and he sat up all night watching me".

The size of Malta is about 27 km long by 14,5 km width, taking just over an hours drive between its two furthest points. <_<

Still trying to get close enough to a cache to actually find one! Thank you to every oone for your warm wishes. Hopefully I will find a cache soon! I think I'm going into withdrawal :unsure:

Well, I hope the best! It must be great to find a cache in a foreign country! One day, I hope I will find one in an other country too!! :unsure:

but i thought it would be easy to hop out of Greece and catch one or two. Who knows, we might just make it to cache in Rhodes one of these years. :D
