Dinoprophet
Very nice, I had trouble getting Saturn and Regulus. I just posted some of mine in Off Topic. Also a Canon A540. First time I've really worked with manual settings (manual focus all the way to infinity, Vivid My Color on some, 0.6"-0.8" shutter, 5.5 aperture, digital zoom maxed) Here's all my best ones Edited February 21, 2008 by Dinoprophet Quote Link to comment
+Knight2000
I see it too SJ. (I am just NE of you a little ways in SW corner of summit county.) From what i read this is supposed to be able to be seen by 1.5 billion peeps. I was going to wake the kids but it just looks like a dirty sky and i dont think they would get it. Quote Link to comment
+Jedi Cacher
Great photos! I was hoping to get a good shot with my new Rebel XTI, but mostly cloudy here this evening. Quote Link to comment
+OEnavigators
Great shot! I was really wanting to get a look since it will be two years before we get another chance but alas, not so much as a star due to all the clouds Thanks for sharing! Quote Link to comment
+gelfling6
just caught the waning eclipse at 10:30PM EDT. can't get the camera to focus too well on it, (fixed focus digital, and the digital zoom bites! ) Stephen Quote Link to comment
+Sileny Jizda
Those are some great pics. I should have used a tripod but I shot without one, through the bedroom window. I had it set to 15 seconds, ISO 100, f-8.0. I forgot where the manual focus was. DUH! Double tap MF/Macro button. I feel swooft. Quote Link to comment
