+fishingdude720
Hey I placed a cache last weekend in a similar to a cache i placed three years ago. Its a pretty long hike. Its secluded though. Not many people found the last one. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...cf-e722feb1016f It is at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park New Jersey. There is an access fee. ~FD720 Quote Link to comment
Shiraz-mataz
This sounds AWESOME! Even though I love to hike in the mountains I am a sea level guy at heart and really enjoy a long walk on the beach. This past summer while in Myrtle Beach I did a ten mile round trip beach hike to snag three caches along the way. Quote Link to comment
+DeskJocky
If you want long hikes on the beach with no one around I highly suggest back country hiking AND camping down at Assateague Island. http://www.assateagueisland.com/ The VA side is foot traffic only. I hiked the VA to MD border twice and highly recommend it. I've only run into people on the first mile or so. After that you will probably not see anyone until you cross over into MD. The one time I did it during the week and ran into the NPS people and they just asked me if I was doing well and went about their business. No caches, but who needs an excuse for a very long walk on the beach. Quote Link to comment
