Greenback
I finally took the leap and had a personal coin made. The inspiration is from a Ruby Throated Hummingbird photograph I took years ago and which I've used in other signature items. I worked with Rusty at personalgeocoins.com and used the translucent enamel similar to the dragon fly coins. They came in the mail a week or so ago and I just finished listing a few on ebay. The second photo is my effort at photographing the coin with back lighting. Here are a few details about the coin specifications: 1.75 inch diameter 3.0mm thickness See through *transparent enamel - hummingbird & flowers laser engraving Antique Silver finish Trackable on geocaching.com Unique icon Unactivated & Uncirculated If you're interested in seeing the unique icon you can visit my trackable items. +Woodland Clan
They are beautiful. Is there any way to buy them directly without going thru the e-place? Edited February 16, 2008 by Woodland Clan Quote Link to comment
hollora
They are beautiful. Is there any way to buy them directly without going thru the e-place? These are a very pretty coin - I, too, would be interested in a direct purchase if possible. Quote Link to comment
The Klever Boys
Nice coin. I'd love to buy or trade for one! Quote Link to comment
Nochipra
I would like to get one directly too instead of going through the e-place as well if it's possible? Quote Link to comment

Dolfy
I love the coin! I have a hummingbird feeder that I keep out during the summer months on my deck and just love watching them buzz around. Especially when I'm sitting out there and they come over to check me out. I would definitley be interested in purchasing or trading for one. Quote Link to comment
mousekakat
Hummingbirds are one of the things that I really miss here in Sweden. They just don't exist here and that makes me a little sad. I used to really love watching them back in Texas. I miss cardinals, too Naomi Quote Link to comment
keewee
Are you trading? Quote Link to comment
Greenback
Thanks for the positive comments! At this time I do not plan to trade the coins as I'm not really a coin collector, though I have a few. My objective is to sell enough to offset some of the cost of having them made. I've had them made in two colors and after I've sold some of the antique silver I'll sell some of the limited edition antigue gold. Quote Link to comment
ShmilyNMe
I would love to buy an LE if you are selling directly...beautiful coin! Quote Link to comment
Dolfy
I'd rather my money go directly to you instead of e-bay so if you want to sell some I'd be interested in the LE if possible. If not then the AS would be great too! Quote Link to comment
DresselDragons
Beautiful coin! Quote Link to comment
gardengorilla
Great job on that coin! My mother has a hummingbird feeder and gets a lot of 'visitors' at the farm. we also saw a good many of these on a recent trip to Costa Rica. They really are beautiful. Quote Link to comment
tom4props
Nice coin. I'd like to purchase a silver (and a gold LE), but I'd rather all the money go directly to you and avoid the "e" place. Could you send out a PayPal invoice? Quote Link to comment
Crowesfeat30
Pretty coin! I placed a bid at the e-place but would also prefer to buy direct. I don't have the funds (or the time to sit by my computer) to out bid anyone. CF30 Quote Link to comment
Frank n Beck
We'd love to have one of these also. Im willing to bid, but as others have stated I'd rather give the money to you. Later Quote Link to comment
KrazyTrollz
Beautiful coin! I love all bird coins and this one is really pretty, I'd rather purchase them directly from you than going thru ebay, just like everyone else. will stand by to see what you say Quote Link to comment

UncleJimbo
Very nice coin. I would like to buy one or two, but I would prefer not to deal with an auction. I can handle eBay, but would prefer a "buy it now price" just to get it over with. Or a separate website for direct orders? Thanks Quote Link to comment

stinkyju
This is an excellent geocoin that looks great! Congratulations on the inaugural coin. I would be interested in a direct purchase of some sort. I would like at least ten, and LE's if available. Geocoins are a large weakness of mine. I love to release and trade. Outstanding geocoin! +Greenback
Do you have any more of the humming bird coin available for purchase? I have about 75 left and I'm using them primarily as prizes for events which I host. I've sold two on ebay this year and I'll sell one now and then on ebay. You can watch for the sales by anduril* Quote Link to comment
