Doc about problems between GPS and Wherigo Player

Hi,

 

after publishing my first cartridge in Spain, I have received a lot of complaints about receiving the GPS signal in Wherigo Player. I am not an expert with PPC so to be able to give some help I read all the posts related to that problem in the forum. I gave all that info to the team martosim which had the problem and good expertise dealing with PPC. They fixed the problem and gave me back a nice document with all the things that we have learnt and they have tested. I think it can be a nice starting guide for people with the same problem, so I am uploading it.

 

Hope this can help. Feel free to update or modify it if you think it can be useful.

The document walks someone through setting up a Bluetooth GPSr using what looks to be Pocket PC 2003 (Windows Mobile 5 I think). The screen shots are in Spanish, but the instructions are in English.

 

The "Building Wherigo Cartridges" section is the only place someone can upload an attachment. Now that the attachment is here, I'm going to try moving this topic to "Getting Started with Wherigo". This is some good stuff for that section. Let's see if the attachment will keep. If not, I'll move this topic back, upload the attachment, and see if a redirect will work.
