+ReadyOrNot Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 woot! woot! (What does that mean anyways?) woot: "w00t" was originally a trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.
+MountainRacer Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 It beats the heck out of reality TV.
+meralgia Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 WOOT! (thanks for the explanation.)
+meralgia Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 It beats the heck out of reality TV.Just about anything beats the heck out of reality TV!!
+meralgia Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 It's too bad it's cold and icy out here, or I'd be taking time off work to go caching!

nonaeroterraqueous Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I love caching!!! Do you? One-sentence woots, please! Post as often as you like!! Can't stand it I also can't stand how you got to start out so much closer to your posting goal than I did.
+meralgia Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 I only "got" closer to the posting goal because I don't post often... you can do it. Just pad a couple of the "regular" discussion boards! After all, you've got over 700 so you've got experience!
nonaeroterraqueous Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Over 450 posts about nothing? In a single day? I think I'd get banned.
+gvsu4msu Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 it beats waiting around for the SAG writers to come back!
+TeamFROG Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 My license plate frame says, “Do You Geocache?” My license plate says TNLNSL I've seen the same one in California. Cracks me up when ever I see it.

+StarBrand Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I've been known to waste an afternoon digging through a prickly tree looking for a piece of tupperware. I think that says it all.
+Sioneva Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I would just like to note that Wahoo is in Nebraska, somewhere around Fremont, and that it has many good caches.
Fluxuated Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Umm, what's the point of this thread, other than to post farm?
+spotter/g Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 As my girlfriend would say, "it's my only true love" BTW, I do love her very much too.

Geo-Joe-N-Josh Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 woot! woot! Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement. Is that true? Either way, I'll give a Woot Woot!
+Peconic Bay Sailors Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Geocaching sucks... I'd much rather do yard work, clean the garage and basement, cut wood (OK that's kool, I get to use a chain saw), help the wife with dusting, vacuuming... I hate geocaching... I'd much rather do chores...
+meralgia Posted February 14, 2008 Author Posted February 14, 2008 nothing wrong with a duplicate post... more reason to wahoo!!!
nonaeroterraqueous Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 So...if the moderators come to their senses and realize that this is really an off-topic thread in disguise, and they move it to the Off-Topic forum, then will your post count go down?
+Snoogans Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Post if you love caching!, Wahoo!! Geee..... I thought that's what we were doing on allllll those other threads..... So...if the moderators come to their senses and realize that this is really an off-topic thread in disguise, and they move it to the Off-Topic forum, then will your post count go down? That was my first thought when I saw this thread. To answer your question, I don't think the post count would go down looking back on other threads that have been moved.
+nativefly182 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Meeting Night. Hi, I'm nativefly182. I'm a geocacher. I tried quiting, but after 2 hours, I started having chills & fever. upset stomache. I became grouchy & no one could stand to be around me. Then I went a caching & all my symptoms disappeared.
