You need to contact the owner, and tell them these things: 1) Go to www.geocaching.com/adopt 2) Enter the coin's TB # -- THIS IS NOT THE TRACKING NUMBER 3) Hit the "Lookup" button to take you to the adoption page for that coin. Confirm on the next page that the coin named is the actual coin you wish to adopt 4) In the cacher section, enter the exact syntax of the gc.com nickname of the person who is going to receive the coin. Then hit the "Go" button to submit this name for adoption 5) Enter any text that you might like to in the text box, to describe the adoption for the new owner The new coin recipient has to then follow the link in the "Adoption request" email that says "If you wish to accept this adoption, follow this link". This email will be sent to the email address you have on file with geocaching.com. Viola. New coin for you. TMA Quote Link to comment
