Visiting from Washington

Hello fellow cachers! I'm a cacher from Washington state and I'm currently in the process of planning a trip out to the East coast this summer. I'll be mostly visiting family in South Jersey (Cherry Hill area near Philly) and Williamsburg, VA but we may decide to begin our trip by flying into Buffalo, NY to see Niagra Falls and drive south to NJ from there.

I was wondering if anyone can help point out any "must do" caches or any other points of interest in the region. We'll be there for about two weeks and I'll be caching like crazy for sure, so any help is appreciated! Cheers!

There is this forum thread:

Which spawned this book mark list.

Around the center park of the state, the Central Jersey Group put together this list as the Best of 2007:

It's a little north of Cherry Hill, but if you're passing through, you'll find some nice cache in there.

If you get a chance and are near Cranford (exit 137 off the GSP) there is a great series in a park that has 12 or 13 caches that you can get walking a 2 mile loop of the park. It's Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, I did the series in about 2 hours or so. It's by TwoCat (just search thier profile and do just about any of thiers). And theres also Roosevelt Park in Edison that has an abundance of caches that can keep you busy for hours. I'm sorry that I can't give you any fancy links like Nik did but those are my suggestions if you want to bang out numbers in a short amount of time.
