+Peconic Bay Sailors
KUDOS for the new maps of a TB's journey... The new GOOGLE based maps are much more like the original maps... You can see the entire travels of a TB on one map rather than just each leg... There were way too many "clicks" to follow a TB before... Edited January 22, 2008 by Peconic Bay Sailors Link to comment
+steve p
I hadn't noticed the new TB maps until your post. I had given up on using the old maps, since they were so useless. But the new maps are GREAT! Thanks to Groundspeak for this improvement. Link to comment

OpinioNate
You have Raine to thank for that. He needs a boost since the clustering didn't work out on the cache maps. He worked really hard on his free time to code that stuff. Edited January 25, 2008 by OpinioNate Link to comment

With a site as big as Groundspeak its sometimes easy to forget that there are real people coding this stuff, not trained monkeys or omnipotent supercomputers. some not very nice things were said about the clusters... sorry! I had gone over to using the Google Earth maps, but now I can go back to using these flat maps. Thanks! Link to comment
+admo1972
When I click on "view map" for a coin I own, I get the location for the TB "OPERATION FLASHPOINT", which is owned by Jeremy. Strange... Link to comment
+GeoScooter1
I am getting "Operation Flashpoint" also. Link to comment
majormajor42
Wow. I just noticed this. I had only been using the Google Earth feature from home and simply didn't use the old show map feature since it wasn't that great. now you can really see the track on any computer without having to install google earth (which helps at Work (on lunch breaks)). Besides convenience, this is helpful so you can easily show friends they joys of TBs, and maybe convert them to caching! Hey PBS! look at my profile, I stole your Hat! Link to comment
