+Dryphter Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Hi all, I recently installed CN 2008 - the NT version. From inside Mapsource, I select all the areas I want (basically the whole US) but I can't check the box at the bottom left corner that says Include Route Calculation Data. The checkbox is disabled. I sent it to my 60csx anyway and I seem to be able to have it auto route anyway. I haven't driven around with it yet, but have selected things like lodging, hospitals, etc and had to go to that waypoint with the 'Follow road' option. It drew the route on the screen just fine and I can flip to the page that lists the turn by turn directions. So does the 'include route calc data' checkbox really do anything? Also when if I selected EVERYTHING that I can (US including Hawaii/Alaska, Canada) Mapsource shows the total to be 992.3MB. How does that compare with everyone else? Am I missing data by not being able to check the box? thanks Quote
A.B.E.L. Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 As far as I know all the routing data is already included when you transfer it to your device. you shouldn't need to check that box as its enabled by default. Quote

QuigleyJones Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Hey, I never noticed that before checked with v2008 non-NT and it allows you to uncheck the box. Quote
rwsmith123 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The format of the NT type maps require that the routing data is always sent. For non NT maps you can choose to send it or not. Quote
