Jeremy Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Folks, As part of our ongoing "how do we pay for version 2 of Geocaching.com" discussion, we're now testing out a trial version of localized ads for Geocaching.com. This is a temporary trial and it is confined to the US only. For those outside of the US you should continue to see Google ads on most pages - except for the front page. The ads may initially be awkward but we're tweaking changes as we go to try and get some locally relevant ads. Since we're one of the few sites that have local content it's a test for localized advertising. If you see anything objectionable please contact us.
