+Ming
Hello, Just wondering if I should have my WAAS enabled or disabled on my system settings??? Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
You will get more accurate readings from the unit if you turn it on - so long as it can see one of the WAAS sats. I would turn it on and leave it. Quote Link to comment
Barrikady
Hello, Just wondering if I should have my WAAS enabled or disabled on my system settings??? I recommend not using WAAS if you are concerned about battery life. WAAS causes more work for the processor in the 60CSx, and thus a faster decrease of battery life. I have used my 60Cx both with WAAS on and WAAS off. The difference between the two settings regarding accuracy is negligible at best. Quote Link to comment
+TexasGringo
I have a 60Csx and leave it on all the time...the real battery drain is using the Back-light at night. Quote Link to comment
