+CrazyL200
Except the other one appears blank. Slow servers seem to be causing havoc on the forums this weekend. Quote Link to comment
+Birdman-of-liskatraz
I guess it's for when you're sailing - and a man (or woman) falls overboard... You hit the button and then the GPS will guide you back to where the person fell over the side.. Rather than having to hit Mark and Go to etc... Quote Link to comment
+HazelS
yes, I realised that, but it came on on it's own, and the owner of the GPS was a little alarmed - especially as she was in the middle of the Irish sea. My original post wouldn't post, so I'll google it instead. Quote Link to comment
+Moote
Man overboard is a function on many GPSr's. Basically if someone falls over you press and hold one of the buttons (not sure which as I don't have my manual at hand) It has to have Human intervention to work. It just sounds like that button was somehow held, probably in a handbag or pocket. I think no man is in the Irish sea, unless your mum never came home with your dad! Quote Link to comment

On my Garmin GPS12 if you press the 'GOTO' button twice, you activate MOB. Quote Link to comment
