Gold Guru
Anyone know of any AZ laws that regulate GeoCaching? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+egami
I would check you local forums. I know Iowa has them. There is a sub-section of forums here someone there could probably point you to the AZ forums or maybe a Google search would find them. Locals are usually the best source. If I were to guess, I'd doubt there are any state level laws governing geocaching specifically...most laws in place govern it indirectly. Quote Link to comment

+GeoRaptor
I've been caching in AZ since 2002. I know of no Geocaching specific laws in AZ to date. We have the same laws as most states relating to National Parks being off limits, along with Indian land. Also a permit is required to use State Trust land. These areas are usually posted. Can't think of anything different about AZ that a cacher may need to know. One other thing you may like to know. In Arizona, we like to hide caches under large rocks. It's an Arizona thing.
