+Kalkendotters
I see not possibility for the player (both the software and the button-pressing human) to pause the current cartridge. As the plays get more difficult I think it would be absolutely vital to be able to stop and continue at a later time/date. Think e.g. empty battery, getting dark, pda crash, question to difficult, picking up another geocache on the way, etc, etc This could be implemented as either: rerun the actions that are in the log-file save the state of all changed variables to a special file Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
Save and close will save the current state of the cartridge. This is essentially pausing the experience. However keep in mind that any countdown timers will continue to run even after the cartridge has been saved and closed. This makes sure that people can't just pause the experience and, say, run to the end location and turn it back on to "win" the race (or whatever requires countdown timers). Quote Link to comment

I just closed the emulator, and then no questions are asked about saving the game. You first have to navigate to <main> and then 'close' the cartridge. Quote Link to comment

In all cases on the Pocket PC and Garmin Colorado it asks you if you wish to save, unless you hard power down the Colorado or hard reset the Pocket PC. Clicking the X to close the window won't prompt you to save in the Emulator. Quote Link to comment
