+The Klever Boys
Just travelling home on the train this afternoon and opened The Sun (yeah, well, I'd finished The Times Crossword!) at page 56 and was greeted by a half-page article on a certain cacher and certain Geodog Well done Wendy - nice feature. +Simply Paul
I read the same article/advert. Great stuff Wendy! I'll take a photo of the piece (I was given the page at my local cafe- I wouldn't pay for The Sun ) and upload it somewhere so I can post it here later. Quote Link to comment
+The Cache Hoppers
Yeah can someone upload it pleasssseee or is it online somewhere? Quote Link to comment
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Many thanks for your compliments ... I guess I have now really arrived eh, making half of page 56 of The Sun?! I have scanned and uploaded the page and also another recent local cutting about the same topic. The Sun Daily Echo ...and yes, alright, I'll admit it, I am guilty of having checked the China caching situation out already! Quote Link to comment
+John Stead
I was very moved to read those articles. I had known for some time that Wendy was a special person but had not realized how brave to have overcome such difficulty - and to give so much credit to Caesar as well! Very well done!!! +FollowMeChaps
Brilliant Wendy! Any chance you could post the itinerary for April 6 as I'm sure that, like us, many of your caching friends would love to come along to support and cheer? What about a London cacher making an event of it - is anyone local up for the task? Quote Link to comment
+kewfriend
Many thanks for your compliments ... I guess I have now really arrived eh, making half of page 56 of The Sun?! <snip> decided to bite my tongue rather than add a 'kew-ish' obvious comment! <snip> Quote Link to comment

Any chance you could post the itinerary for April 6 as I'm sure that, like us, many of your caching friends would love to come along to support and cheer? What about a London cacher making an event of it - is anyone local up for the task? That was just what I was thinking! Come on kewfriend or currykev - let's get something sorted!!!! +M0zez
Congratulations Wendy & Caesar, I am delighted for you both, both articles were very interesting. Like the others I would love to see you carry the torch. Let us know when you can. Hi to Red Squirrel and Happy New Year to all. M0zez Quote Link to comment

+The Cache Hoppers
WTG Wendy and Caesar. Since Kewfriend has resisted the temptation to make any kew'ish comments, I'll keep quiet too. Quote Link to comment
+HazelS
well done - but your not the only person off to china!!!! Lathama I find your comment very insensitive. Wendy is going to be taking part in a very prestigious event, and no, she might not be the only one going, but I still believe she deserves recognition for even being asked. I don't know why you chose to make such an insensitive, and frankly, nasty comment, I only hope one day you get asked to be involved in such a wonderful event, and someone posts a similar comment. +The Maggot Drowner
Great news Wendy! Looking at the news reports it seems like they have found the perfect candiate. Keep up all the good work sounds like you really do make a difference. PS: have you ran a PQ yet for all the caches along the route? Quote Link to comment
