+Doc Geo
I'd love to tinker around with this since I am a computer programmer... Just wondering... any docs for the builder anywhere? Barry aka Doc Geo Austin, TX Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
It's on our todo list to get the Wherigo Builder Tutorial out soon. We had an earlier tutorial but the Builder application has changed significantly since then. Quote Link to comment
Liquidspaceman
From the Lagoon of Liquidspaceman... I can't wait to see the much anticipated tutorial. I hope it will include definitions of each button and show an example of what each option can do. ...Liquidspaceman, over and out Quote Link to comment
Liquidspaceman
From the Lagoon of Liquidspaceman... I hope there will also be discussions regarding audio/video. I am trying to have a cartridge similar to what was seen in the tv show treasure hunter. ...Liquidspaceman, over and out Edited January 12, 2008 by Liquidspaceman Quote Link to comment
+Team KG
Whew! I'm sure glad there will be a tutorial. I am very interested in this idea! I have no idea how to build a cartridge though. Team KG Quote Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
Why not start some basic documentation here? If you know how to do something with the builder, share it with the rest of us so we can learn more and get started ourselves. When editing a zone, there's a section called "Other Information (Shows in the Player)" What is this? What do the options do (Distance Range, Proximity Range) and how is this different than the zone boundaries you set with points? If I leave them default, what kind of results would I get opposed to editing them larger or smaller? Quote Link to comment
+twolpert
Useful as they are, forums don't provide a good home for reference material. It's too difficult to find what you want. Collaboration is possible, but information content is not very dense. So, I've set up a Wiki on wikispaces.com so we can accumulate information about the builder. There's not much there now. But it's enough to give it a little structure so we can find things. You're all invited to contribute -- help us build the builder documentation! Quote Link to comment
