jeff42150 Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 First annual winter geocache event at Fort Harrison State Park, IDNR, located at 5753 Glenn Road, Indianapolis Indiana, on Saturday, January 26th from 10a to 3p, builidng 701. This day-long event will feature morning instructionals sessions at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level, a pitch-in lunch, and then outdoor in-the-field geochache hunts for the temporary caches set up for this event. There is no cost for the program, pre-registration is required by phoning the Park office at 317-591-0904 Mon-Fri, 9a - 3p. The normal weekend IDNR gate fees apply, $5/carload in-state, $7/carload out-of-state. For more information, please phone the Nature History Center at Fort Harrison State Park at 317-591-0122.
