dkurz10928
I do have a friend who has started hiking with me. We have a good time but her free time and mine are very different now. Is there a way to have a cacher group? Say in the New York/West Point area? Quote Link to comment
BlueDeuce
Best thing would be to contact a local club. I'd suggest meeting them at an event before agreeing to hit the trail. Although you might be surprised on how many people are willing to cache in a big group. I think 22 is the largest group I've been in. Safety in numbers. Quote Link to comment
hydnsek
In the Seattle area, we usually post in our forums to find hiking buddies, in general or for a specific hike. (Unlike some other regions, we use the Northwest forum here for most conversations, rather than a separate website.) No trubba finding willing bodies almost any day or weather. TotemLake even has an ongoing "Hike of the Month" thread for geohikes he leads. This time of year, it's often about snowshoe hikes. Edited January 7, 2008 by hydnsek Quote Link to comment
Team Crime Scene
Check the caching pages of some of your local caches. Some members of local clubs will post their links right on the page. Here's one of our groups in Florida. If ya get this way check it out. Link Good luck on your quest. TCS Quote Link to comment
GRANPA ALEX
I have found that find people who like wet (Canoe/Kayak) caches, I find people who place wet caches . . . the same goes for hiking caches. Quote Link to comment
