Garmin service for Legend Cx

Recommended Posts

Hi, I need some help. My rubber gasket around my GPS is coming off. I E-mailed Garmin and the only way to fix this issue is to send it in. I have a Legend (old blue) and that rubber gasket came off and they sent me a new gasket and tape for it, But they can't do it for the Legend Cx. Can anyone help me on what type of tape I should use? I don't want to send it in because everythng else is working fine.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I see they don't send the same unit back sometimes. My unit is still in good shape. Has anyone sent there unit in and received a new or repair one back?

I sent my first Vista C in and got a different unit back. It was returned promptly and Garmin even transferred the waypoints I had on the other one, although I had saved those on my computer before sending it back. I would have preferred if they had fixed mine, even if it took longer to return it, because I had one of those $10.00 Invisible Shields on the screen . . . ;)

Did they give you a new unlock code?
