+czarbucks
Still trying to edumacate ourselves on the finer points of geocaching... We've been using a couple of bug hotels as bug/coin drop sites, and still don't know the right thing to do. Since we've logged these as finds previously, at gc.com we just leave notes recording the drops. That clearly makes sense. But the physical logs... is one supposed to sign it and say you've dropped something? Or not? Thanks for everyone's help. Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
If you can record it on the caches physical log that would be cool, but if you forget to or don't have time, personally I don't consider it a problem. As long as the bug is recorded online as being in the correct cache everyone should be happy. The online logs are where the owner will be able to look for it and keep track of it. +WRITE SHOP ROBERT
I usually log my visit in the logbook each time I go to a Cache. I may not if I'm in a hurry, or if the space in the book is slim. Quote Link to comment
+FireRef
I would say it also has something to do with the log size - if it's one of those things that would fill up quickly or is really small, I'd avoid the relogging. If it's, big, I go for it, so the owner gets an accurate record of visits. Online - everyone! Quote Link to comment
+czarbucks
Great, that's about what we've been doing. Many thanks! Quote Link to comment
