Bluechart and CN on same card, query.

Hi, I'm still a little confused about this two maps on one card business. From what I gather the only way to put the bluechart and CN on the same card is to load them both at the same time, but how is that done? Seeing as they are both on different CD's.

 

Is the idea to get them both into a single map file?

You load them both to your computer and they both "live" inside MapSource. In MapSource, you select the areas you want to load from one map product and then you use the drop down to select the other map product and select the areas you want to load from it.

 

Then you send the whole bunch at one time.

When say, CN is loaded to the computer in its mapsource container and then the Bluechart CD is put into the computer does the computer already know that there is a mapsource product loaded and only load the maps from Bluechart to the already loaded Mapsource with CN?
