+Hick@Heart
I paid for a premium membership. (I just used my card, not paypal) It says it can take a couple of days to process?????? How will I know when I can access member only caches? Do I have to do anything? PS. I'm sure this has been asked before. I looked and couldn't find it. Link to comment
+TexasGringo
I got an email and then I looked at my accounts status and it said "Premium Member". Then the TV news crews came, Larry king called me...etc. (Just Kidding). Edited December 27, 2007 by Drooling_Mongoloid Link to comment
+webscouter.
The folks that change the membership may be on Christmas break. Give them a couple of days. You can see the members only caches on the search page. Click on this search. The caches with the siloettes on them are premium members caches. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...lon=-116.991967 Link to comment

You do have to enter that s-number somewhere in your profile. Right hand side, about half way down, looks like: You are a basic member. Upgrade your membership for additional features. Which brings you here: http://www.geocaching.com/subscribe/ I think the only automatic thing is the acceptance of your money and sending out your s-number. +Lil Devil
You do have to enter that s-number somewhere in your profile. Ignore this. The S-number only applies if you used PayPal, which the OP clearly stated that he did not. Link to comment

Sorry, I've never NOT used paypal so I never knew that behind the scenes there is another way for things like this to happen. Now I can understand the op's mention of Groundspeak people taking a vacation. Link to comment
