+GPX Navigators
Wow Marky that is some combination of coins. I'm assuming that's the Mega otherwise the other coin is teeny tiny! Congrats to you & Joani! Kids did great - they each got the pink piggy bank coin and GC&PC December coins. Very nice. The rest of their coins will be found via GPS when Grandma gets here and we go on a cache hunt. They have no idea of the stash awaiting them. The family together received an unexpected and total surprise gift from pghlooking - our own set of Geo Jellies 3. When we had to drop out because we could not swing the Jellies he went ahead and had a set minted for us out of his own families' pocket. That is above & beyond. Blew us away and we had a great time opening up each individually wrapped box, with each containing our own version. Super cool! Sorry - pgh you are a sweetie and we just trashed your image! +tsunrisebey
I didn't get any coin because no one in my family caches nor are they even really interested in it. BUT, they know I'm throwing my first event and that I don't cook/bake; and one of my gifts was a crock pot/slow cooker. When I looked at my mom like, what is this for, you know I don't cook, everyone laughed at me and said it was so I could make chili for my chili cook off event. The sad part of all this was that I was never going to actually make chili, I was going to buy some and heat it up. My mom told me she'd give me a recipe and it looks like I'll actually be making it now. Guess I better practice a time or two so I don't make anyone sick Quote Link to comment

+mousekakat
In spite of there being no coins under the tree, this was probably the nicest Christmas I've had yet! We spent Christmas eve eating the Christmas dinner, Julbord, with Micke's parents and opened all our gifts there with them. They gave the girls some wonderful gifts and gave us a digital kitchen scale, much needed! My mother blessed us with a ton of gifts for the girls this year when she visited, and we maxed out the little bit left on the credit cards to get the rest since we were so short of funds... gonna hurt to pay it off, but the girls had a really wonderful Christmas. Micke got tickets to watch his favorite hockey team here in Sweden play, Brynäs and he got his playstation chipped and a hooded jacket and I received a little sterling angel charm for my bracelet in honor of the little one we lost this year, an absolutely beautiful glass angel from the girls, a sweater and a beautiful crystal Madonna and Child that looks like it was etched deeply into the back of a chunk of ice. It wasn't a huge Christmas for him or I, but the kids really had it wonderful, and that's the most important thing! I did, however, receive some great coins in the past couple of weeks, Hanna, too, and for those we are really, really grateful! Thank you to the wondeful people here who sent cards, emails, gifts and other Christmas wishes! The spirit here is wonderful! Naomi Quote Link to comment
