perth pathfinders
Just wondering if anybody is planning any caching Xmas Day? You know, between that huge cooked breakfast, and the Turkey sizzling in the oven? Dog needs a quick walk past the new cache? 5mins away from the In-laws? (whilst they do the washing up?) Bit of fresh air out the house? Work up an appetite. Try out those new boots/fleece/GPS that you demanded from Santa Or do you wait till Boxing Day - well it finding Boxes aint it? +maxkim
Not exactly planning but if a new one were to turn up on the door step... then who knows.... FTF's round here are quite rare.. MaxKim Quote Link to comment

chizu
We're planning a couple in Holyrood Park on Boxing Day - weather permitting! Quote Link to comment
The Flying Boots
We're planning a whole day's caching on Christmas day. No Turkey and trimmings for us as we're veggies anyway. Our lunch will be peanut butter and jam sandwiches washed down with a hot flask of coffee. If the weather forecasters are wrong then we'll head for the Black Mountains, possibly the Blorenge and Mynydd Llangattwg. If the weather is as predicted then it'll be low level coastal caching near Portishead. Quote Link to comment

PopUpPirate
Who cares? If you can't say anything constructive then it's probably not worth saying Anyway Christmas Day, probably no caching due to the endless tide of formalities which are great fun! Then as for Boxing Day, well a different matter entirely. I was gonna host a Boxing Day walking event but instead if anyone wants to join me, I'll be doing an unofficial walk round the area for a bit of fresh air and excercise. Might even hide one Quote Link to comment
Matrix
I might there are a couple locally that I need to do depends on the weather really they just happen to be near some relatives I will be visiting as well Quote Link to comment

vw_k
Rangerchuk and I always go ouot for a Christmas morning walk/cycle and this year I'm going to get info on local caches printed out, so wherever we decide to go I'll have the cache page for at least one cache that's nearby Quote Link to comment

DaBeEm
None planned for this year - last year was 32 on Christmas Day, 29 on Boxing Day though! It would have been more on Boxing Day had it not been for a puncture - not the best day to find out that i had forgotten to pack the bike puncture repair kit! Quote Link to comment

Dark_Faerie
Can't do any caching christmas day. Working 'til 4 (triple time and a good laugh:D ), followed by dinner at the In-laws, followed by being over the drink drive limit. Otherwise I would have considered going out in the morning. Working Boxing Day too, but off until next year after that (will probably change) Just about to find a few to do on the way to my Mum's tomorrow (Christmas Eve) though. Merry Christmas everyone Quote Link to comment

Rosie's Rangers
We've been out to scratch that caching itch today, but thankfully we have two geo-kids to share the special day with, so caching is strictly out of bounds on the 25th. After that though its fair game. Merry Christmas all Lee, Caroline, Katie, Scott and Rosie Quote Link to comment
drsolly
We're hoping to bag cache number 2000 on the way to spend Xmas with daughter.1 and daughter.2 Quote Link to comment

kennamatic
I might manage one or two in the morning as no doubt I'll be banished from the house for a couple of hours whilst lunch is prepared. Or at least that's what I'm hoping! Merry Cachemas to everyone. Quote Link to comment
HazelS
I went out and set a new cache today, but not had chance to write the cache page... I know - bloomin house duties get in the way!! If I get chance tomorrow I'll submit. it, other than that, someone will get a boxing day FTF rather than an xmas day one! My non caching sister goes off the her in laws on xmas morning, which means my parents, myself and anyone random that fancies a walk (last year there were 4 of mum's neighbours that joined us!!) will go out and do a cache or 2. We're actually planning to do a puzzle cache I worked out in the summer, so it'll be worth doing!! Quote Link to comment
Jonovich
Got four new caches placed and ready to go, first one published this morning (Many thanks Mr. Lactodorum), the rest will follow as the previous one is found, to spread out the Christmas caching experience a bit. Question is, will four be enough to last until the New year? Merry Christmas everyone! Jon. Quote Link to comment
Von-Horst
We'll probably try for a couple ofgentle caches in the Forest of Dean. Quote Link to comment

Jaz666
I'm spending the day at my sister-in-laws, where I hope to take a stroll to find the one and only remaining cache in the village. If I can rustle up a container or two tonight it may not be the "only cache in the village" for much longer. Quote Link to comment

Guanajuato
Just wondering if anybody is planning any caching Xmas Day? We're planning on getting our 200th on Christmas day. We're off to Tarn Hows for a walk. With a 5-week old in pushchair, a 5-year old in wheelchair at the moment and a mother whose been told no lifting or strenuous exercise, anything other than flat is out of the question really - rare around here! We've already found the one there so have had to look for some on the way there that are accessible. Only one fits the bill that we haven't already found - Windermere on Water - Holme Knott. +DanielMorgan345
Really wish I could go tomorrow. Bored out of my skull, and I just don't seem to get as excited for xmas anymore. But there are no caches nearby for a quick visit and the rest of the team definately wont want to miss out on all their presents Ah well, guess I've got a lovely dinner to look forward to Quote Link to comment
hiho9
i won't be going out tomorrow either, unless one pops up near enough Quote Link to comment
spannerman
We haven't any caches near enough to do but we always go for a walk after the big meal, it's tradition. I do have a cache which I think needs a bit of attention so we will probably go and sort that one out and our dog now has her own account so she will get to log a few. So, in answer to the question, we wont be but the dog will. Quote Link to comment
Cryptik Souls Crew
Won't be going out this year, but xmas day will mark the 5th anniversary of my first find. Dunno why I chose that day to get started, it just sort of ended up that way! Quote Link to comment
