+zafwon
Here is an article on how to get the eTrex Legend working with Google Earth. I'm not affiliated with the website and I don't own an eTrex Legend so I can't really comment, but thought some here may be interested in the method. Enjoy! Quote Link to comment
+Chuy!
Could it work with a non-serial cable device? Will give it a shot. Thanks for the link. Quote Link to comment

The keyword in all of those instructions is Earth Bridge. Basically any device that supports NMEA will work. Unfortunately it seems that the Vista is not one of these. Quote Link to comment

The Vista supports the NMEA 0183 version 3.0 interface format and can drive up to 3 NMEA devices at once. Quote Link to comment
truello
Awesome, thanks. I will have to give this a shot then. While on the topic, is it possible to do this with a (Windows Mobile) PDA? That is, tether a PDA and a NMEA GPSr to get location via Google Maps Mobile? truello
It seems that your PDA has to support USB host mode for this to work. My xv6700 does not. Quote Link to comment
