+RAD Dad
I'm finally going to replace my old Garmin Legend. I'm getting another Garmin and I noticed that they now have some new feature called Geocaching Mode. Just what does this mode do? I'm looking at the 76Cx if that makes any difference. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
If you send the waypoints to your GPSr with the Treasure Chest icon (if that is the one you have designated for Geocaches on your GPSr), they will go into the "Geocache" category. When you have the "Go To" arrow, at the bottom of that page you have a "Found" button to push after you find the cache. The "Next Nearest" Geocache will be listed next. The "Next Nearest" is not always the most logical one to look for, so you will want to check the map screen, but if you are on a hiking trail, that is convenient. The 76Cx is a very nice choice. +TexasGringo
Wait to buy a new GPS unit until next year (2008)...Garmin might be coming out with a new line. http://gpstracklog.typepad.com/gps_tracklo...rmin/index.html Quote Link to comment
