I read the same and had the same thoughts..."Wow...that must have been a serious Travel Bug..."

Also...you give directions based on nearby caches even when you know you are talking to someone that doesn't cache and only realize that when the blank stare glazes over them...

As you drive through your the local area, you and your family/fellow cachers call out the names/locations of caches as you drive by them, regardless of who is in the car with you.

When your son plays video games and uses names of local geocachers for the player names.

The other day I heard him playing Yahtzee on the computer and it was sduck against JoGPS!

When you are moving to a new city 1800 miles away from where you lived, your spouse is still in your old home, you are supposed to be out looking for a new home, but you're looking for caches instead. And, telling your spouse that you didn't see much that you liked!

Well, it's the truth. The whole place was full of sucky micros. In fact, I don't think I want to move to this city if the caching's going to be like this.

How frequently do you take an hour or two of vacation time because you located a new cache near work?

Well, it was a half day of sick time, and I did beat the FTF hound who lives thirty miles south by fifteen minutes!

On the other hand, you know you've geocaching too long when you wait until after work for the FTF hunt.

Support group I thought this was the support group.

You get side tracked reading the link by Jeep Dog.

You start looking for a cache just because this is a great spot

and there may be one hidden here.

...when homesteading on Mars appeals to you specifically because of the extra 39 minutes and 35.244 seconds you'd get each day to go caching. And the fact that you know the length of the Martian day down to the millisecond doesn't strike you as odd.

Hahahahahaha! I about fell over laughing when I read this...

Been there, done that... multiple times, with no GPSr or anything... :-)

Never found one this way though.... yet...

Not to mention all the new real estate for hiding caches! You might have to take up the practice of logging finds on your own hides for a little while...

Ok, back on topic....

You know you've been geocaching too long when you start checking out potential Christmas trees for a micro hanging on the branches.

When your son assumes that every time you leave the house, you're going out caching

I feel for you on this one! Except it's my nephew! Every time I visit my sister, and I go to leave somewhere, he asks if I'm going geocaching! :D

BTW, I'm going down for Xmas and we are spending the whole day caching!

You know you spend to much time geocaching if you go find this cache.

Along the same lines: This one in NC.

I guess you spend to omuch time caching/on Groundspeak when you can call up a cache in another state given certain criteria

And here's another along the same lines as the two caches quoted here. However, I love how one hider refuted every statement in the listing. Yes, he's spent a 'little' time geocaching!
