You can open GPX files in Weekend Topo.

" * Great for use in geocaching – download GPX files to find treasures in your area.

* Find the exact latitude/longitude of any point on the map.

* Transfer waypoints and routes between your GPS unit and the National Geographic TOPO! State software to find where you want to go or where you have been.

* Store, organize, and manage an unlimited number of waypoints."

So Im Trying to Do Paperless Caching, and Im wondering if I can take the .gpx or .loc files i get from Geocaching and transfer them to Weekend Topo for the Bay Area.

Do you mean Weekend Explorer 3D topo from National geographic?

Yes Johnny I couldn't remember the full name of the software.

I don't know what Weekend Topo for the Bay Area is, but use Garmin's POI Loader to download your gpx files into your Vista HCx as customized points of interest. And if invest in GSAK, you will be able to take the fullest advantage of POIs.

What kind of info do you see on the HCx? How do you do this?
