+Miragee Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Welcome to the Forums! Which software are you using on your PC (assuming you have a PC and not a Mac)? Many people use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), which I cannot live without in this cache-rich area. Which software are you using on the IPAQ, GPXSonar or Cachemate? Quote
+StarBrand Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I use GPXSonar. On the PPC - it is really very easy. Just copy the >GPX file directly from the Pocket Query onto the device with the synch software. Open GPX Sonar and you will have a list of all the included caches. You can sort by name, code, ratings, travel bug etc by clicking the colomun heading. Select any one cache and you will get a page with all the cache details that looks very similar to the online pages with the last 5 logs. Quote

I have only tried to dowload one of the free programs to my PC but it doesn't seem to work. Should I download both the GSAK and the Cachemate? Do I just wait on this page for a reply? +StarBrand Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 What program did you try to install? What happened? errors? Connect your IPAQ and turn it on - then run the setup for GPXSonar - should be ok. Quote
+Nachtraaf Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Here you find my method for paperless caching with an Ipaq: http://geocachingwithweedboer.blogspot.com...label/paperless might be usefully for you too. Quote
