Problem with going paperless?

I Hot-Sync'd my Palm last night with no problems. Today I install Spinner, run it, get to the point where I'm supposed to Hot-Sync and now my Palm won't connect.

 

Anyone have a similar problem or have any suggestions?

You don't say what connection you have but if you're using serial do you have any other program open that's trying to use the com port?

Sorry, using USB connection. I have a Palm T/x if that matters.

I don't know if the installation of Spinner caused the problem, but sometimes, if I send waypoints to my GPSr from GSAK first, and then try to HotSync, it won't work.

 

Some things to try are to take HotSync out of the StartUp folder and manually start it when you need it by opening the Palm Desktop software.

 

After rebooting the computer, try HotSyncing the Palm first, before using a USB connection with any other device.
