caches to do before ye die

Is there anyway I can search open bookmarks, is there a monster list of UK bookmarks somewhere?

Failing this, can anyone tell me what caches I ought to do before I burn out and die.

Britain's Highest on Ben Nevis shouldn't be missed. You've done Your (sic) 'avin' a Laugh already, which I'd class as a Must-Do. My one on St Kilda is a bit special too, if I say so myself

I don't know about the bookmarks, but I'm sure most people have favourite caches/series that they would recommend.

 

A couple of my personal favourites have been the Quest for the Ring of Power series in the Lake District, though I did the first few before it changed format, so I have got to do them again to log the finds - no hardship! Especially liked going underground!

 

Also I enjoyed St Herbert's Island because it meant rowing across Derwentwater to the island - took me back to childhood games of playing the Famous Five or Swallows and Amazons. Finding treasure on a secret island whilst trying to hide from dangerous spies - well, all right, sea scouts, but you know what I mean. Fab fun!

The top rated caches on geocacheuk (when it's working again) can be a good guide on good caches others have enjoyed.

I've done four of them and wouldn't argue...although the list could really be as long as your arm.

If you do the highest, you should consider doing some of "the lowest" - I thoroughly recommend the "UnderWorld Series" in Devon.
