supertbone
While doing some research on an old old lime kiln belonging to the defunct Llano Del Rio Socialist Colony near Pearblossom, CA, I found the details for EV3855. Check out the name designation for this BM in the link. Any guesses to where the name could have come from? Quote Link to comment
Yossarian
Well...based on the satellite photo of the hill it's on, I'd say it's probably because the hill resembles a...uh...tit. Quote Link to comment
PFF
LOL. The topo map gives the same impression. I ran a search to see if there was a nearby mark called "TAT". I recently recovered FOOD, and then a half-mile away found STAMPS. -Paul- Quote Link to comment
RazorbackFan
Nice one! The Florida GIS had a pretty good sense of humor while naming their disks. Here are a few examples: AK7275 - RAT WORLD - located on the property of Disney World AK7219 - KEVIN ELEVEN - Located by a Seven Eleven gas station. Quote Link to comment

Klemmer
Near Palm Springs, the golf course capital of the world, about three miles apart: DX5114: WAM DX5115: TEE DX5116: UGH or maybe TEE, WAM, UGH? DX5111: WIG also nearby. Not sure how it fits in, except it is on or very near an Indian Reservation. Oh, wait! WIG and WAM !!! Of course! Can't find PEE, but I bet there was one for TEE and PEE. Then UGH. All US Engineers. Funny guys. Not too PC, though it was 1941. It was not golf after all! Edited March 5, 2008 by Klemmer & TeddyBearMama Quote Link to comment

GEO*Trailblazer 1
Well PILGRIM it can't be as bad as the one I found the other day while visiting an INDIAN friend of mine. We ran across a POLECAT digging up his CORN So we just decided to go on a LEWIS AND CLARK EXPEDITION MONUMENT hunt instead. While there we thought about doing some fishin and told him to make sure and take a pole and BOBER. Well this concludes the Benchmark test for today we now return to your regularly scheduled program.
